2006–07 ECRHA Regional Championships : ウィキペディア英語版 | 2006–07 ECRHA Regional Championships (詳細はNCRHA schools playing in a multi-stage tournament to determine the regional champion of the Eastern Collegiate Roller Hockey Association (ECRHA). Team selections were announced at the conclusion of the 2006-2007 ECRHA Season. The tournament began on March 2, 2007 and concluded with the Championship games on March 4, 2007 at the Sportsplex in Feasterville, PA. The Rochester Institute of Technology ''Tigers'' won their fourth championship and first since 2003 with a 4-3 victory over SUNY Buffalo. This tournament marked the first time since RIT's last title in 2003 that Towson University did not win the championship. Towson was eliminated in the semifinals with a 6-3 defeat at the hand of RIT. In Division II, SUNY Stony Brook won the DII Championship over perennial powerhouse and defending champions Neumann College with a dramatic comeback. Down five goals in the second period, the Sea Wolves scored six unanswered goals, with the last coming :53 seconds into overtime to clinch the championship. It was also only the second championship game to be determined in overtime in the history of the ECRHA. Neumann came out on the losing end of the first in 2005 against Hofstra University. In DIII, Suffolk County defeated Nassau County two games to none, to win their 5th consecutive regional championship. In the B Division, the Suffolk County ''Lighthouses'' clinched their 4th consecutive regional championship against Towson University.
